Hi, I’m Peter

I'm a German lens-based artist. Years ago, I co-founded Playboard, one of Europe's first magazines combining skateboarding and snowboarding culture. Later, I worked as an on-air designer before publishing a photo book with renowned publisher Hatje Cantz.

One thing stayed with me through every chapter:
I always built my own mockups.

Then I moved to Thailand. Living here changed the way I look at design.

Thailand has a rare kind of creative instinct. A plastic bottle becomes a flower pot. A broken chair gets repaired instead of replaced. Things don't have to be perfect—they just have to feel right.

That mindset inspired Hell's Blue Boy.

I create handmade mockups from real streets, real light, real textures, and real moments—not sterile studios. Putting improvisation and imperfection back into mockups.
